We’ve got seedlings going and are excited to plant outside!!!\n• Why germinate seeds before planting?\n• Learn about starting seeds indoors…which to start indoors and which ones to start in the ground.\n• Transplanting…important things to remember\n• Companion planting…Does it matter which plants are planted next to each other?\n• Planning what to plant and where to plant it.\n• Herbs & flowers…learn which ones to plant in the garden and which ones may take over the garden!\n• Extending the season on both ends\n• Protecting plants…cold\, heat\, and pests\n• Why do people pull up their plants when they’re still producing? \nDoreen is a Master Gardener\, and has enjoyed teaching Square Foot Gardening classes to all ages throughout Utah since 2000. She worked with Mel Bartholomew at Thanksgiving Point taking care of his Square Foot demonstration gardens\, planting\, watering\, harvesting\, and composting. Doreen gained this wonderful knowledge from working with Mel. She and her husband have fun sharing the love of gardening and their abundant harvest with others.
