Butter-Soft Oatmeal Rolls

- 2 cups rolled oats
- ½ cup sugar
- ¼ cup butter softened
- 1 tbsp salt
- 2½ cups water boiling
- 2 tbsp yeast
- ½ cup water warm (110℉-115℉)
- 5½-6 cups all-purpose flour
- butter melted (for basting on top)
Boil 2½ cups of water. Mix together oats, sugar, butter and salt. Add the boiling water to the mixture and let it cool to 110℉-115℉.
Once cooled, add the ½ cup of warm water and yeast. Let it dissolve and sit for a few minutes.
Add in flour and knead well, about 6 minutes,
Let raise for an hour or until doubled.
Punch dough down and move to a floured surface. Divide the dough into 20 pieces. Form into rolls, and place in a greased baking pan.
Let raise again until doubled, about 45 minutes.
Bake at 350℉ for 30-35 minutes.
When the rolls are baked, brush the tops with melted butter.
