Hummus Dip

Ingredients

  • 2 15 oz cans Chickpeas (garbanzo beans) Or WAY better---cook 1 cup dry with 3 cups water and drain!
  • 1/2 cup Extra-virgin Olive Oil more as needed
  • 1/2 Lemon Juiced
  • 2 Tbsp Parsley roughly chopped, extra for garnish
  • 2 cloves Garlic peeled
  • 1 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika more for Garnish

Instructions

  • Combine all the ingredients in a blender. If too dry add a little more olive oil.
  • Scrape into a bowl or onto a plate, garnish with extra parsley, paprika, and a drizzle of olive oil as you like.
  • Serve with pita chips, vegetables, or add to sandwiches!
