- 1 large stockpot
Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups sugar you can use honey
- 4 cups water
- 2 cinnamon sticks full-sized
- 8 allspice berries
- 10 cloves
- 1 whole piece dried ginger root
- 4 cups orange juice
- 2 cups lemon juice
- 2 quarts apple cider
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in stockpot or crockpot. Simmer for 1 or more hours to allow flavors to marry.
- When ready to serve, strain out the whole spices.
- Serve warm.
