Layered Fiesta Bean Dip
This Recipe came with us from Hudson, Wisconsin when we moved to Utah over 25 years ago. It fast became a family favorite and is front and center at most of our holiday celebrations!

Ingredients
- 1 can refried beans large
- 3 avocados
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- garlic salt to taste
- 1 8-oz. container sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. taco seasoning
- hot pepper sauce to taste
- 1 bunch green onions
- 3 tomatoes
- 1 can pitted olives chopped
- 8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese or taco cheese
Instructions
- On a plate, layer refried beans.
- Mash avocados and mix with lemon juice and garlic salt.
- Mix sour cream and mayonnaise together with salt, pepper, taco seasoning, and hot pepper sauce.
- Layer avocado mix on top of refried beans.
- Layer sour cream-mayonnaise mix on top of avocado mix.
- Top, in turn, with green onions, tomatoes, olives, and cheese.
- Serve with tortilla or pita chips.
